INDIA-ANTI-CONVERSION LAWS ARE LICENCES TO ATTACK CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS AND TERRORIZE SHUDRAS, DALITS, AND ADIVASIS

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Bhartiya Janata Party leaders and activists attack Christians because they do not want Christians to tell Shudras, Dalits, and Adivasis that God created everyone equal (BIBLE, Genesis 1:27; 5:1-2) and that God loves people. He does not punish them. He blesses them with health, prosperity, happiness, and peace.
The RSS and BJP activists terrorize Shudras, Dalits, and Adivasis so that they do not get out of their sheep pens. Many upper-caste Hindus want to retain the lower caste Hindus and Adivasis as servants and enslaved people. Christians believe in only one life. The lower-caste Hindus learn from Christians that their birth in their lower caste is not because of God’s punishment for their previous birth’s karmas. Therefore, the enlightened Shudras, Dalits, and Adivasis seek education, better occupations, dignity, equality, and justice.
The preamble to the Indian constitution guarantees all its citizens “Liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship.” This provision implies no state religion; people are free to follow any religion or not to believe in any religion. However, the anti-conversion laws are framed on the conviction that Hinduism is the mandated state religion of India. The Supreme Court of India should declare anti-conversion laws unconstitutional. If India is a secular state, then the central and provincial governments should not discriminate among citizens based on religion.

WHAT ARE ANTI-CONVERSION LAWS?
Ten Indian states have enacted laws preventing religious conversion from Hinduism to another religion; the eleventh state has already introduced the bill. These are called Freedom of Religion Acts or “anti-conversion” laws. They specifically seek to stop conversions performed using ‘forcible’ or ‘fraudulent’ means or ‘inducement. The anti-conversion laws are licenses to attack Christian preachers and worshipers. Muslim males who marry consenting adult Hindu females are also targeted.
All acts require filling out forms one or two months in advance to seek permission from district magistrates or other authorities, which is very intimidating. There is no restriction on non-Hindus converting to Hinduism.
Making a false accusation of conversion is not a crime. So far, no Christian has been convicted of making a conversion; however, Christians are frequently attacked and sent to jail on false allegations.
The Anti-Conversion Laws are the Brahmins' (5%) and Kshatriyas' (4%) strategy to continue to retain Shudras (26.5%), Dalits (17%), and Adivasis (8.6%) as servants and enslaved people. Adivasis are not Hindus; they follow pre-Aryan religion and have no caste or subcastes. Vaishyas (19%) are the middle caste. Brahmins, Kshatriyas, and Vaishyas are grouped as the twice-born select group. Many Brahmins and Kshatriyas do not support Anti-Conversion Laws because they believe in democracy and freedom of religion.
The BJP central and provincial governments should investigate how many studied in Christian schools or received treatment at Christian hospitals and how many converted to Christianity during the last one hundred years. Christians were 2.6% of India’s population in 1971 and 2.3% in 2011. That shows that the number of Christians is decreasing.
India is ranked number 10 on Open Door's World Watch List, which monitors and ranks 50 countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution.
BRAHMIN AND SHATRIYA LEADERS OF RSS AND BJP PUT DOWN VAISHYAS ALSO
Mahatma Gandhi was born in Modh Baniya sub-caste of Vaishya caste. He was not a Brahmin or Kshatriya. He led India’s freedom struggle and became a global inspiration and role model for anti-colonial and anti-oppression struggle. He is respectfully called ‘Mahatma,’ ‘Bapu’ and ‘Rashtra-Pita’ (Father of the Nation). Therefore, RSS and BJP leaders demonize Gandhiji and call him anti-Indian. His killer was a Marathi Chitpavan Brahmin; so, he is respected as a “deshbhakt” or patriot.
Like Gandhiji, Arvind Kejriwal, national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, is also of a Baniya subcaste of Vaishya caste. As the chief minister of Delhi, when he announced the launch of his government’s anti-corruption drive, BJP central government clipped his wings by taking over the police department from his government. In the February, 2022 assembly elections in Punjab, Kejriwal’s AAP won 92 seats out of a total of 117 seats. Recently Chief Minister Kejriwal’s residence in Delhi was attacked by frustrated extremist Hindu hooligans.
THE ANTI-CONVERSION LAWS VIOLATE THE PRINCIPLES OF THE RULE OF LAW AND THE GUARANTEES OF INDIA'S CONSTITUTION.
The Encyclopedia Britannica defines the rule of law as "the mechanism, process, institution, practice, or norm that supports the equality of all citizens before the law, secures a nonarbitrary form of government, and more generally prevents the arbitrary use of power."
There are four principles of the rule of law:
Accountability - Rulers can be held accountable and punished for unlawful actions;
Open government: The operations of government must be transparent. The government leaders should not make decisions in secret from the general population.
Just law - The laws must be fair; all citizens are equal before the law, and no one is above the law.
Accessible and impartial justice - The laws must be widely promulgated, well-known, and enforced equally.
The constitution of India guarantees freedom of religion.
The Anti Conversion Laws violate the rule of law principles and India's constitutional guarantees.
Evidently, through these laws, the BJP-led provincial governments promote lawlessness, attacks on Muslims and Christians, and terrorism against Shudras, Dalits, and Adivasis.
THE 5% BRAHMINS AND 4% KSHATRIYAS CAN NOT RULE OVER 91% OF INDIA’S POPULATION FOREVER
Hindus are about 80% of India’s population. Dalits (17%) and Adivasis (8.6) are counted as Hindus. The other two Hindu caste groups are Vaishyas (19%) and Shudras (26.5%).
Other major religious groups are Muslims (13%), Christians (2.3%), Sikhs (1.9%), Buddhists (0.8%) and Jains (0.4%).
All Brahmins and Kshatriyas are not majoritarian Hindu extremists.
Karl Marx said, “Religion is the opium of the people.” Undoubtedly, one day the effect of religion will wear off, and people will come to their senses. Then they will feel the pain of their miseries and demand change. India should provide the opportunity for democratic change and not suppress political opposition. Otherwise, the only option will be the Maoists’ approach, who believe in Mao Zedong’s slogan, “Political power comes out of the barrel of a gun.”
INDIA IS A NATION OF FIRST-WORLD PEOPLE AND THIRD-WORLD GOVERNMENT AND JUDICIARY
The victims of violence, exploitation, and injustice in India are hoping for change:
“Sitam ka hadd se barh jaana tabaahi ki nishaani hai;
Badalte hain sabhi ke din, puraani yeh Kahaani hai.
(“When tyranny goes beyond the limit, it is an indication of ruination;
Everyone’s condition changes; this is an old story.”)
Let us hope and pray that India will get a first-world mindset, government, and judiciary and become a first-world nation.
