INDIA- LIES ABOUT CONVERSION AND VIOLENCE AGAINST CHRISTIANS ARE TO TERRORIZE TRIBALS AND DALITS

They are designed to retain Tribals (Scheduled Tribes) and Dalits (Scheduled Castes) in the cage of ignorance, ill health, poverty, and subjugation as make-believe Hindus. The decline of the Christian population from 2.6 percent in the 1971 census to 2.3 percent in 2022 proves that there are no conversions to Christianity. Telling lies of conversion in the name of Lord Shri Ram or after taking oath on Holy Gita and attacking Christian churches and worshippers demean Hindu religion.

There are stringent laws against conversion in at least ten Indian states, governed mainly by Bhartiya Janata Party. Suppose the BJP governments have failed to stop conversions. In that case, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and BJP mobs should be attacking the offices of chief ministers, district and city magistrates, and police officials. But this is not happening because there are no conversions.

The fundamental goal of violence against Christians is to control tribals and Dalits by terrorizing them. Tribals are the poorest economically, and Dalits (outcastes) are the lowliest socially. In the census, tribals and Dalits are included as Hindus to boost the total number of Hindus. The Sanatana Hindu Dharma recognizes only four castes or varnas in the Hindu Varnashrama Dharma. All Hindus are born in these four castes or varnas: Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, and Shudra.

Hindu society is compared to a body with Brahmanas as the head, Kshatriyas as the arms, Vaishyas as the belly (or thighs), and Shudras as the legs. There is no place for tribals and Dalits in Hindu society.

Tribals in India are not Hindus because they are nature worshippers and do not have a caste and sub-caste like Hindus. Therefore, many tribals demand that they be enumerated as 'Nature Worshippers,' not as Hindus.

Similarly, Dalits are not Hindus because they are outcastes and not part of the four recognized castes of the Hindu Varnashrama Dharma. They were traditionally regarded as "untouchable." The term "Dalit" means "oppressed" in Sanskrit and "broken/scattered" in Hindi.

In villages, Dalits cannot share Hindus’ wells and cremation grounds (shamshan). Dalit bridegrooms cannot ride a horse. Dalits have to carry their own cups to drink tea at the village tea stalls. Who oppresses Dalits? Who hinders Dalits' social uplift, improvement, and progress? Hindus, of course!

Scheduled Castes (Dalits) comprised 16.6% and Scheduled Tribes (tribals) 8.6% of India's population according to the 2011 census. Hindus were 79.8 in this census because the Hindu population included Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. If 25.2 percent population of Dalits and tribals is taken out from the total percentage of Hindus, then Hindus will be only 54.6 percent of India's population.

In many parts of India, tribals, as Maoist revolutionaries, are already revolting against their exploitation. It is a matter of time before Dalits will also join them. The Hindu religious slogans cannot provide food, clothing, shelter, education, and healthcare to India's tribals and Dalits.

NIGERIA- THE GOVERNMENT IS IN COLLUSION WITH THE KILLERS OF CHRISTIANS

In 2021, 4,650 Christians were killed in Nigeria by Boko Haram, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), and Fulani Militants, according to Open Doors’ research.

Open Doors CEO and President David Curry blames politics for the U.S. losing its focus on Nigeria. Nigeria tops the Open Doors lists of nations “Where Christians Face the Most Violence,” and “Where Christians Were Martyred Most.” On its 2022 World Watch List, Nigeria is the seventh most dangerous country for Christians, based on various factors, including governmental and societal persecution.

The killings of Christians continue unabated in Nigeria. On February 9, 2022, Baptist Press News reported that at least 48 Christians were killed in a series of recent extremist attacks. About 20 pastors, priests, and Christian leaders were kidnapped for ransom in Kaduna state over the past two years.

Nigeria has been identified as one of the three top persecutors of Christians by the religious freedom advocacy group International Christian Concern. According to ICC report, ““Nigeria is one of the deadliest places on Earth for Christians, as 50,000 to 70,000 have been killed since 2000.”

Rev. Joseph John Hayeb, chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna State, lamented, “This crime has government sponsorship. This crime has government backing. This crime has government approval.” Details at:

PAKISTAN- 'SERVANT OF GOD' AKASH BASHIR IS CATHOLIC CHURCH OF PAKISTAN'S FIRST OFFICIAL CANDIDATE FOR SAINTHOOD AND MARTYRDOM

Young Akash Bashir became a martyr when he prevented a suicide bomber from entering St. John's Catholic Church, Youhanabad, Lahore. He sacrificed his life to stop a large massacre. Akash served as a volunteer security guard.

On January 31, Archbishop Sebastian Shaw of Lahore announced that the Vatican had approved the cause of Akash Bashir's martyrdom. He was given the title of 'Servant of God', which is the first step for a candidate in the sainthood process at the diocesan level.

Welcoming the news, Archbishop Emeritus Lawrence Saldanha of Lahore said, "When there is so much sad news, this news is very joyful. Akash remains a great model of a modern martyr. May he inspire and encourage all young people."

In Open Doors’ 2022 world Watch report, Pakistan occupies second place in two categories - Where Christians Face the Most Violence and Where Christians Were Martyred Most. Pakistan also had the fourth-highest number of churches attacked or closed. Details at:
