The BJP and RSS leaders indeed campaigned for the destruction of the Babri Mosque and the construction of the Ram Temple in its place. Still, no one can deny that they were motivated by the desire to exploit the religious sentiments of Hindus. As a result, Hindus have generously rewarded them with votes.

THE CONSECRATION CEREMONY VIOLATES THE VEDIC-PRESCRIBED PROCEDURES AND RULES
The four Shankaracharyas, respected as the custodians of Sanatan Dharma, have expressed significant objections. They have declined the invitation to the Consecration of Ram Lalla's (Baby Ram's) idol in the Ayodhya temple for Lord Ram's new home. The four Shankaracharyas main complaint is that the inauguration of Ayodhya's Ram Temple in an incomplete structure is a political show, not a religious function. They assert that Pran Pratishtha in incomplete Ram Mandir is 'against shastras.' “What is the hurry to inaugurate the sanctum sanctorum when the temple is still being built?” they ask.
Also, the Vedic scriptures prescribe that only Brahmins can touch God's idol in the temple. But at the Consecration ceremony, non-Brahmin Modi will handle the statue. Also, appointing a Shudra as a temple priest contradicts Vedic principles.

The Shankaracharyas also dislike that the scriptural procedures are being ignored in the ceremony. Shankaracharya Shri Swami Sadanand Saraswati of Paschimannaya Dwarka Shardapeeth objects to the consecration of Ram Temple in the month of Paush because Paush is considered inauspicious according to Hindu scriptures. He proposed that Ram Navami, the birthday of Lord Ram, is a more auspicious and suitable time. Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati is concerned about the new Ram Lalla idol replacement. “The question is, if this new idol will be placed, what happens to Ram Lalla virajman?” he asked. The simultaneous construction of Asia’s largest mosque in Ayodhya is also a point of criticism.
According to the Shankaracharyas, these actions violate the Sanatan Dharma’s spirituality and sanctity. They think this proves that the chief purpose is to launch BJP’s election campaign before the parliament election. The absence of the four Shankaracharyas, the custodians of Sanatan Dharma, confirms that the controversial Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla’s(Baby Ram’s) idol in the Ayodhya temple is a political show, not a religious ceremony.

RELIGIOUS HINDUS VERSUS POLITICAL HINDUS
Many religious Hindus are not happy. They think that their God should not live in an under-construction house being built on stolen land after destroying a mosque. They denounce the BJP's opportunistic and manipulative politics. They believe that Lord Ram belongs to all Hindus, including the Hindu leaders and followers of the anti-BJP political parties. Therefore, it is immoral for the BJP to capture Lord Ram and claim Him as its private property.
On January 22, when Ram Lalla’s consecration ceremony will take place in Ayodhya, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will offer prayers to Maa Kaali and lead an interfaith rally, Sampriti, covering mosques, temples, churches, and gurdwaras along the way. Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray will offer prayers at Nashik’s historical Kalaram Temple on January 22. Lord Ram lived in the Nashik-Panchavati area during His exile.
The focus on PM Narendra Modi as the "chief host" in the Consecration is an attempt to convert Ram's sincere and spiritual followers into political followers of the BJP. This political exploitation has forced most anti-BJP political leaders to refuse to be a part of Modi's glamorous show.
KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HINDU RELIGION AND HINDUTVA POLITICS
The Shankaracharyas know the difference between the Hindu religion and Hindutva politics. The Hindu voters must also see this difference to make an intelligent choice in the forthcoming parliamentary and future assembly and local elections. It is evident that Prime Minister Modi is trying to divide the Hindu religious community for political gains!
